When processing it, it is important to note that cocoa butter behaves slightly differently than animal milk butter. Cocoa butter melts in the hand due to body temperature (which is why it is ideal for body lotion etc.) and can also be heated to high temperatures.
Tip!
Melt some cocoa butter at a low temperature (a candle is enough) and use it as a sensual massage oil. A wonderful experience!
What is raw cocoa butter?
Unlike conventional cocoa butter, raw cocoa butter is cold-pressed. By pressing the raw cocoa mass, the fat (butter) is separated from the hard components (powder).
A quality feature is the light color of the butter, which shows that the raw cocoa mass was cold pressed. This preserves the fine cocoa smell and avoids any unpleasant roasted aromas.
