Sea lettuce, also known as sea cabbage, is a bright green seaweed of the species Ulva lactuca. It grows along the coasts of the North Atlantic and is particularly versatile in the kitchen.

Sea lettuce is excellent for sautéing – whether in a pan or a wok. Crispy fried, it resembles chips and makes for a flavorful, salty snack. It also pairs well as a side dish with vegetables or in Asian-inspired dishes.
