Emu oil. Emu oil by Talyala Emu Farm is 100% pure and 100% natural. No added anything!

Each product, be it Pure Oil or Capsules, is made from 100% pure and 100% natural, pharmaceutical grade, Pure Emu Oil with nothing added.

Emu Oil has been around for thousands of years. But it is only recently that modern day science has proven what the Indigenous Australian people have known for a long time.

Talyala uses a particular sub species of Emu for greater benefit of the oil.

Once harvested, the emu oil is passed through microfilters and gently heated. When gently warmed and mixed, the oil will become slightly opaque with a slight yellow colour.

The oil hardens at lower temperatures and looks cloudy. The "cloudiness" is the separation of long chain and short chain fatty acids in the oil.

This is a good sign. It shows that the oil is "complete" and that it has not been tampered with or highly refined. The cloudiness also disappears when the oil is warmed.

To ensure that Talyala Oil does not lose any of its natural molecular structure or biological activity, gravity filtration and gentle heat treatments are used during the production process. Think of it as the equivalent of the "extra virgin" grade of olive oil.

Why we like this pasture-raised Emu Oil from Talaya Emu Farms

We first came across emu oil in the vitamin K2 database linked to in Chris Masterjohn's expansive article on vitamin K2, which you can find here. We were not aware that emu oil is the most potent natural source of vitamin K2-MK4.
