A mixture of marrow and bones, blood and soil minerals (yep, "dirt"). From New Zealand pasture-raised Australian cattle.
Bone marrow is a special type of tissue found in bones. Traditional cultures like to break bones to access the marrow. Bone marrow can also be found at a good butcher. Bone marrow tastes great as a spread or on its own with salt.
Bone marrow is mostly fats, a little protein, but no carbohydrates or sugars. In addition to macronutrients, bone marrow contains substances such as micronutrients, phosphatidylcholine, special fats such as CLA and alkylglycerols, immune proteins, collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin, peptides, growth factors and stem cells.

Why we like this grass-fed bone marrow
This is a very exciting product. In the past, bones and bone marrow were just as much a food as meat and vegetables. Bone marrow and bones can be found at the butcher and sometimes in the supermarket. However, bones and bone marrow are not an everyday food. This is a pity.
This also applies to blood. Today, blood is usually only found in black puddings, unless you are one of the Masai people of Tanzania and Kenya, who drink fresh, raw blood. Like any food, blood contains its own nutrients, such as antibodies. Why should we spurn this unique food? Blood is there like organs and bones: forgotten but worth cherishing!
