Two special foods combined. Both oils complement each other - which is why Weston A. Price always administered cod liver oil and butter oil together. The reason is that vitamins A, D, and K can only be optimally used by the body when together. Cod liver oil also provides omega-3 fatty acids.

I've taken Green Pastures Fermented Cod Liver - Butter Oil (purchased from Eichenhain) since December 2023. I had chronically low vitamin D at that time, and researched extensively to find ways that would safely and naturally improve my levels. Thanks to material from the Weston Price Foundation and Eichenhain, I found this product in Germany and decided to opt for it over synthetic D supplements. I couldn't be more grateful. I have since more than doubled my Vitamin D hormone levels, and am now in a very healthy range! This is the only variable that I've changed in my diet.
